Post (05/09/07) Yeah! I learned today that one of my bag designs has won 2nd place in the Knitting Pattern a Day 2008 Calendar Contest. 2008 contest winners link Please support this calendar when it becomes available. It is a great forum for previously unpublished designers and provides a lot of patterns at a reasonable price.
New post (10/25/06) There has not been much interest in forming a new SnB group in this area. I am interested in forming a group as I can not make the meetings of any of the other local groups. It only takes a few people to get a group going! I would still prefer Thursday nights as a meeting time. Contact me if interested.
I am still available for knitting and crochet instruction.

Next meeting will be April 27, 2006 at the same time and location.
We are a new group forming in the Philadelphia Main Line and western suburbs. We will be meeting Thursday nights from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Starbucks in Havertown, PA beginning April 13, 2006. Frequency of meetings will depend on interest.
Knitters and crocheters of all ability levels welcome. Other needleworkers in need of company (cross stitch/needlepoint) are welcome to join us. If you don't currently knit or crochet and would like to learn, come anyway and we'll teach you! If you are new, bring a skien of worsted weight yarn, size 8 straight knitting needles or size H crochet hook.
